The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the official announcement, "An unusual encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine group.
The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana together with several items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
