The City of Angels witnessed citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Fans across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, raising the Commissioner’s trophy high.
“I’m already thinking about the third time we’re going to do this,” Shohei Ohtani remarked through an interpreter.
The procession path concluded at the stadium, where the team walked out to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard providing music and Ice Cube cruising a Pacific blue vintage Cadillac around the field.

Festivities started prior to the procession, with Dodgers fans setting off fireworks in the streets of the city center on Sunday night.
The World Series MVP, awarded the MVP of the championship, spoke plainly about the win.
