She behaved with inner fortitude, a warm expression and a upbeat demeanor that inspired those around her,” Hankins, the head of her former high school, stated to the press. “She was sweet, considerate and always willing to support those in need.”

Law enforcement have indicted a twenty-nine-year-old Afghan national with a charge of first-degree murder and two counts of assault with intent to kill while armed.

Wolfe, a native of the city, started his military career in February 2019 and is a 2019 graduate of Musselman High, per the news agency.

Sarah, from Summersville, completed her education from her high school in mid-2023 and joined the military shortly after, serving as a MP with distinction, per the West Virginia National Guard.

“She had a lot of kindness and she absolutely had courage,” the governor told the gathering at the memorial. “Though her time ended too soon, she has left a mark that’s going to be remembered always.”
